I’m in my bed, petting Piglet. Vacation officially over.
It was a helluva ride.
We’re onboard Disney’s Magical Express, en route to Orlando Int’l Airport.
Had breakfast at the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort this morning. My delicious Tonga Toast (banana-stuffed sourdough french toast rolled in cinnamon sugar and topped with strawberry compote) hasn’t sat all that well with me, and if there’s anything I like better than getting [...]
It’s late here, after 1am, and we have an early wake up call to check out, catch breakfast, and do a little shopping before our flight. Tonight was our last theme park action.
We finished, appropriately, at the Magic Kingdom, and with classic rides like Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, and the Carousel of Progress.
One observation: [...]
And for the last time, too. Gonna yet to jam in a bunch of stuff before midnight, including Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Tiki Room, and the Monsters, Inc. show we haven’t seen yet.
Tomorrow, check out, breakfast at Kona Cafe, Downtown Disney, and back to our hotel by 2:50 to get picked up for our flight.

For our last full day, we’re off to the Studios this morning, and will be rocking the Magic Kingdom, which will stay open until midnight, tonight.
Drink Around The World will not be reattempted. Kind of a bummer, but we scheduled the attempt last night, and just can’t dedicate more time to it.
On the dockit for [...]
Most of World Showcase is closed, even though it’s an “Extra Magic Hours” night. We are formulating a plan to try again tomorrow. Very bummed about the misrepresentation of the “Extra Magic Hours” benefit when the park is supposed to be open until 12:30.
I’m behaving myself
…like Donkey Kong.
Munching on ESPN grub right now, got to put down a good base.
The plan, as it stands, is to start with beer in the UK, Canada, Mexico and Norway, then sample wine from China, Germany, Italy, US, Japan, Morocco and France.
Full speed ahead!
Some primitive jackass, proud of his stature as a carniverous hunter, is sitting across from us on the bus devouring a foot-long turkey leg. Nast.
